Washington officials have been negotiating the stimulus bill all week. The final stimulus bill that president Obama will sign will be much less of a bill than he had hoped. One of the key real estate recovery pieces of the bill could have been cut in negotiations, it is still to be determined.
The Senate did have plans in the bill to give home buyers a $15,000 tax credit that could be taken over 2 consecutive years. It his real estate help is not in the final bill it could have been one of the great benefits of the plan that was axed by conservative republicans.
